My Purpose

As mayor since 2023, I have led the city in providing sustainable and reliable city services, updating the city’s infrastructure, and improving planning and budgeting processes. This has been successful to date, but there is more to do. I am running again to continue that ongoing work.

The Future

I will continue to execute the long-term plans laid out for the city, including

designating the funds to reduce and finally eliminate special assessments for street projects so all residents share more equitably in the costs.
implementing the Parks Master Plan.
implementing the Pavement Management Policy.
obtaining grant funding for city projects.
improving communication and engagement with our residents.

Civic Engagement

I show up at public events to keep connected to the people that we serve and meet with residents, at their request, in addition to three scheduled opportunities per month.
I am engaged regularly with local and regional city government leadership, including Cities for Safe and Stable Communities and the Regional Council of Mayors, and communicate often with our state legislators. This networking helps identify additional resources for our city.
I volunteer with organizations providing safe, affordable housing such as Solid Ground and Habitat for Humanity.
