Local Government Essentials

I am committed to providing sustainable and reliable city services, updating the city’s infrastructure, and improving planning and budgeting processes.

Fiscal Responsibility

I am leading the process to reduce and finally eliminate special assessments for street projects. I will partner with the City Council to create a Finance Commission. I will continue to implement the Parks Master Plan and the Pavement Management Policy.

Communication

I will continue to seek input from residents and stakeholders to better understand the needs of our community. You can connect with me at city events, office hours, Breakfast with the Mayor, and in one-on-one meetings.

Community Development

I support the development of both workforce and market-rate housing. A large number of our residents are rent- or mortgage-burdened. We have very limited affordable housing for our teachers and firefighters and those who work in our retail and manufacturing businesses. I will continue to support the development of both workforce and market-rate housing.

I support business retention and expansion to meet the economic needs of our evolving city.
